About us

This site is run by Solidus Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 90 624 143 666), trading as Ocean Sky (Reflection.Space), New Farm QLD 4005, Australia. Contact: studio@oceansky.space. By ordering from us you agree to these terms. Under the payment button on our site we show "By continuing, you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy", with links to both; continuing to payment means you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Products and prices

  • Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Prices don't include GST. Solidus Ventures Pty Ltd is not registered for GST. Shipping is free (Standard only).
  • We try to describe and show our products accurately. Natural materials (paulownia wood, palo santo, brass) may vary slightly in colour and grain.
  • We may change prices or products at any time, but changes won't affect an order you've already paid for.
  • There's no maximum number of items per order; the only limit is the stock we have available.

Orders and payment

  • Checkout and payment are handled by Shopify. Your order is confirmed once payment is successful and you receive a confirmation email.
  • We only ship within Australia (see the Shipping Policy). Overseas orders are by email only.
  • On orders going to several addresses, the address you enter at checkout is used for billing and order updates only. Each parcel goes to the address you entered on our delivery page. The order stays one order.
  • You can change a delivery address until your order is dispatched by emailing studio@oceansky.space with your order number.
  • We may cancel an order and refund you in full if there's a pricing error, the product is unavailable, or we suspect fraud.

Gift Edition messages

  • After ordering a Gift Edition, you have 7 days to record a voice or text message for each gift through your private order link (on the checkout thank-you page and in your order confirmation email). Messages can only be recorded for a paid order.
  • You can re-record or change a saved message until your order is dispatched. The gift's link and NFC chip stay the same.
  • Each voice message can be up to about 2 minutes long (25 MB maximum).
  • If a message isn't saved within 7 days, the gift ships without it and the gift page shows our default message.
  • You're responsible for what you record. Messages must not be unlawful, offensive, threatening, or infringe anyone else's rights. We may decline to publish a gift message that breaks these terms.
  • Each gift page is reached by a unique NFC link. Anyone with the chip or link can view it, so share it carefully.
  • Each gift page stays live for 5 years from the date of purchase, or for 1 year after Ocean Sky stops trading, if that's sooner. Gift pages stay live after a refund or return.

Shipping, returns and privacy

Our Shipping Policy, Returns and Refunds Policy and Privacy Policy form part of these terms. Only the buyer can request a return or refund.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those rights.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, we're not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from use of the site or products.

Incense safety

Burn incense only on its brass holder, on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from anything that can catch fire, such as curtains, paper, and the paulownia box and its sleeve. Never leave burning incense unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Burn it in a well-ventilated room, and stop if the smoke causes irritation; take extra care if you have asthma or a breathing sensitivity. The brass holder can get hot during and after use. Make sure the stick is fully out before you leave the room. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for damage or injury caused by using the product other than as described here.

Intellectual property

The site's content, design, photos and branding belong to Ocean Sky and can't be copied without permission. You keep ownership of messages you record, and allow us to store and show them to deliver your gift.

Mailing list

If you sign up to our mailing list, we'll email you news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on the site when you order applies to that order.

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
